hey! Welcome to IF! And thanks for stopping by my post. To answer your questions. The bottles are cleaned and dried thoroughly. I poured emulsion paint into the bottle and start to turn them so the paint inside could be coat evenly ifrom the inside. I painted the outside of the bottle (face and expressions) by using emulsion paint and touching up using ZIG Painterly Markers. There, go try it and have fun!
